Cody Hall joined Mandell Pinder as an articling student in 2017, and became an associate with the firm in 2018. He is developing his practice in corporate commercial matters such as real estate, corporate structuring, sales and financing. Cody has also assisted with negotiations, adding lands to reserve, and developing Indigenous law and policy.
Cody grew up in Chilliwack on Tzeachten reserve lands and is a member of the Tzeachten First Nation — a part of the Stó:lō community. Prior to law, Cody worked for a professional forestry company and assisted First Nations with resource management. While in law school, Cody advised a local Chief and Council on housing code and policy matters, and oversaw their dispute resolution procedures. In 2017, he received his Juris Doctor from UBC Law with a concentration on Aboriginal law and environmental law.
Cody enjoys sports, reading, staying active, and hanging with his dog and officemate, Karl. He is inspired by his own community and is passionate about helping Indigenous people prosper. Cody’s commitment to creating positive change among Indigenous communities includes a passion for facilitating economic prosperity.
