Aaron is a member of the Musqueam Indian Band. Within a year of being called to the bar, Aaron had the opportunity to serve his community as General Council for the Musqueam Indian Band from 2015-2019.
He brings his unique experience and perspective to legal practice with deep respect and appreciation of Indigenous legal orders. Drawing inspiration from historic court cases and the achievements of his fellow band members, Aaron views the law as one means of ensuring that Indigenous communities’ laws, rights, title, and traditional governance are respected and upheld.
After earning his Juris Doctor in 2013 and completing his judicial clerkship at the Federal Court of Canada with the Honourable Mr Justice Mandamin, Aaron joined Mandell Pinder LLP as an articled student and in 2015 became an associate.
