Specific Claims conference. Elisa will give a First Nations’ counsel’s perspective on specific claims to village sites and Aboriginal title. She will discuss how these types of claims compare, contrast, and inform each other.
The PBLI Specific Claims conference gathers experts in the field to discuss developments in policy, process, and negotiations, as well as the operation of the Specific Claims Tribunal. Faculty members will also provide attendees with information and advice on researching and preparing specific claims.
The conference takes place on February 8 to 9, 2023.
