How to Apply

We are hiring an articling student in 2024 for the 2025/2026 articling term. Our articling students become a member of our team, with the opportunity to gain experience in the full range of work underway at the firm. We look for articling students who want an in-depth experience working for Indigenous people and governments within a collaborative team approach. Ideal candidates will have a demonstrated interest in Indigenous issues and Aboriginal law.

In the operation of our firm, we are committed to supporting truth and reconciliation in Canada, and to implementing the actions set out in our Reconciliation Action Plan. We have a dedicated team of litigators and solicitors engaged in the areas of Aboriginal rights and title, business law and governance. In our practice areas we seek to ensure that the law is used as an agent for positive change for the Indigenous communities we serve.

The application deadline is Friday, June 28, 2024 and candidates can apply by sending their cover letter, resume, transcripts, two recommendation letters, and a short sample of new or existing legal writing (i.e. legal memo, advocacy piece or paper excerpt, redacted if necessary and maximum 5 pages) for consideration.
