We are intending to hire an articling student for the 2026/2027 articling term. Our articling students become a member of our team, with the opportunity to gain experience in the full range of work underway at the firm. We look for articling students from diverse backgrounds who are creative thinkers with strong academic skills and a deeply held commitment to advancing the interests and rights of Indigenous communities, organizations and governments. In the operation of our firm, we are committed to supporting truth and reconciliation in Canada, and to implementing the actions set out in our Reconciliation Action Plan.
In the operation of our firm, we are providing innovative legal services for protecting and advancing the interests of Indigenous Peoples and governments, we collaborate with our clients by grounding our work in their expertise and unique knowledge. We have a dedicated team of litigators and solicitors engaged in the areas of Aboriginal rights and title, business law and governance. In our practice-areas we seek to ensure that the law is used as an agent for positive change for the Indigenous communities we serve.
The application deadline is Monday, June 30, 2025 and candidates can apply by sending their cover letter, resume, transcripts, two recommendation letters, and a short sample of legal writing for consideration.

The salary range is from $77,000 to $82,000, aligned with the market on an annual basis.
The expected start date is likely September 2026, based on firm requirements and availability.
