Rachael is a member of the Kwakiutl First Nation on Northern Vancouver Island. She attended the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia, where she also obtained her undergraduate degree in political science.
She began her legal work by volunteering with the Atira Women’s Resource Society and devoted her time in law school to providing pro bono legal services to Indigenous people, both at the Indigenous Community Legal Clinic and the BC First Nations Justice Council.
Rachael is dedicated to amplifying Indigenous voices in the legal system and to continuing the work of decolonization and reconciliation.
Rachael joined Mandell Pinder LLP as an articling student in 2025 and continues her work with the firm as an Associate. Rachael was called to the bar in 2026.
